Victoria Azarenka and Belarus compatriot Aryna Sabalenka will meet in Sunday's final at the JT Banka Ostrava Open in the Czech Republic.
Azarenka, the No. 4 seed and former World No. 1, defeated Greece's Maria Sakkari 6-1, 6-3 in one hour and 37 minutes to reach her 40th career WTA singles final.
Azarenka won the first five games and never looked back, taking advantage of Sakkari's 36 unforced errors and saving seven of the eight break points she faced.
The 31-year-old Azarenka and the 22-year-old Sabalenka have split their two previous meetings, with Azarenka cruising 6-1, 6-3 in the second round at the U.S. Open last month.
Sabalenka, the No. 3 seed, eliminated American Jennifer Brady 6-4, 6-4 in Saturday's other semifinal. Sabalenka converted all three of her break chances and saved five of the six break points she faced.
